Category Names
Once assessed a school is placed into one of six categories
Register Key
We use abbreviations to keep Register entries short, the key explains those in use
A Full (Sortable) List of Schools
A complete list of all schools in the Register, a sortable table, data is also selectable by: School name, County or Category

A complete list of all schools in the Register in alphabetical order
Schools by Category:
DSP - Dyslexia Specialist School
Schools established primarily to teach pupils with SpLD (Dyslexia)
SPS Specialist Provision School
Schools established to taech pupils with SpLD and other associated difficulties
DU - Dyslexia Unit
Schools with a designated Unit or Centre providing specialist tuition on a small group or individual basis
SC - Specialist Classes
Schools where pupils with SpLD (Dyslexia) are taught in seperate classes for some lessons, most probably English and Maths
WS - Withdrawal System
Schools where pupils with SpLD (Dyslexia) are within drawn from appropriately selected lessons for specialist tuition
MS - Maintained Sector
Schools support pupils with SpLD (Dyslexia) to access the curriculum
Dsylexia Friendly Schools
Schools which have obtained the BDA's Dsylexia Friendly Quality Mark
